A short bio goes here — where they trained, what they teach, and what a Dreamer can expect from working with them.
Mentorship for dancers who dream bigger.
We help develop dreamers who believe in themselves, understand their purpose, and learn how to turn their dreams into a reality — building skill and self on and off the stage.
I was born and raised in the Quad Cities, and at 14 years old, I discovered my dream of becoming a professional dancer.
That dream took me from Iowa to Los Angeles, New York, and Chicago, where I built a career as a professional dancer, teacher, choreographer, and mentor.
But my greatest accomplishment isn't simply where I danced or who I worked with. It is the thousands of dreamers I've had the privilege of guiding along the way.
For more than 25 years, I have built and led a nationally ranked dance company. For the past 17 years, I've also built a studio where thousands of dancers have walked through the doors. They came to learn dance, but I always wanted them to leave with so much more — confidence, discipline, resilience, goal-setting, self-belief, and the courage to chase their dreams.
I've had the privilege of coaching dancers who have gone on to incredible opportunities, including working as backup dancers for Beyoncé, Usher, and The Pussycat Dolls, as well as performers and professionals connected to Broadway, Mizzou, Iowa, Purdue, Arizona and more colleges and professional dance teams, movies, television, music videos, teaching, choreography, dance mentorship, dance education, and many other careers throughout the dance industry.
And what makes me most proud is knowing that the same tools I used to help prepare these dancers for their careers are the foundation of Reality Dreaming.
For years, I was able to teach these life lessons naturally through my dance classes.
But as I began teaching less, I realized I didn't want those lessons to stop.
I wanted to create a program that could reach more dancers, wherever they live, and give them the same tools I've spent decades developing through my own career and experience.
Reality Dreaming was born from that vision.
This program is designed specifically with dancers and dreamers in mind — helping them discover their goals, build confidence, navigate challenges, create a vision for their future, and understand that becoming a successful dancer is about so much more than learning choreography.
It's about becoming the person who is ready for the opportunity when it comes.
My passion for helping people believe in themselves has also been shaped by the people I've loved and lost.
My little sister, Randee Jean, passed away when she was only six months old. More recently, I lost my mom.
I now see both of them as my guiding angels.
Randee taught me that life is precious.
My mom reminded me to pursue my dreams and never live with “What if?”
Their lives continue to inspire me to live with purpose — and to help young dancers do the same.
I believe every dancer has a dream inside of them. Sometimes they just need someone to believe in them, help them find their direction, and give them the tools to move forward.
That's what I want to be for you.
Your story is still being written.
Don't live with what if.
Dream it. Believe it. Work for it. Make it your REALITY.
It’s time to fly.
Let’s go FIND YOUR WINGS!
With love, Rachelle Ochsner Founder, Reality Dreaming Empowerment Center
